Castel Porziano Beach

- The beach of Castel Porziano is known for its fine grain sand with light golden color. This beach is narrow and a mere 2 km long and for entering the beach are 7 gates famously called ''The Gates'' which are managed by the municipality of Rome.
- Up until 1965 the beach was closed to the public and it fell under the Presidential Estate also known as the Summer Residence.
