1. Visit Rainbow Village: This tiny settlement located in the Nantun district is one of the most colourful places in Taiwan. The vibrantly painted streets and houses are the main tourist attractions here and all this was created to prevent the demolition of the village. 3. Visit Taichung Cultural Heritage Park: It is a multifunctional cultural park located on the site of the largest brewery that existed during the Japanese colonial period. Take Blessings at Confucius Temple Taichung: Built in the year 1976, this temple has rare palace-style architecture used during the Song Dynasty and is located near the Yizhong shopping district of Taichung.
