Established in 1988, the National Museum of Fine Arts is the first and the only fine arts museum in Taiwan showcasing some of the most noteworthy exhibits this country has to offer. The property covers a total area of 102,000 square meters which also includes the Public Outdoor Sculpture Park, making this museum one of the largest art museums in Asia.
It has 24 halls and showcases some of the finest examples of Taiwanese art that are of a modern and contemporary nature. Besides the exhibitions, the Museum also has a Library and a Family Room where families with children can come and explore hands-on concepts and several other activities.
