If you are a history buff visiting Itanagar, Ita Fort is the first place you should hit. Ita Fort literally translates to “Fort of Bricks” which lends the name to the city of Itanagar. Built at some time in the 14th Century by Chutiya Kingdom, Ita Fort is the most significant historical site in the city.
