Spread in a whopping area of about 90 acres, Lodi Gardens or Lodhi Gardens is a park in the city of New Delhi. A heritage of the Lodi line of kings who ruled Delhi in the 15th and 16th centuries, the gardens contain Mohammed Shah's Tomb, Tomb of Sikandar Lodi, Shisha Gumbad and Bara Gumbad, and architectural works from their times.

Under the care of the Archaeological Survey of India, the place has a beauty to it that attracts people from far away. Humanyun's Tomb is a grand mausoleum built in the memory of Mughal Emperor Humayun. Made of red sandstone and white marbles, this 47 meters high and 91 meters wide tomb is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
