About The Prashar Lake Trek:
Prashar Lake Trek in Kullu is a beautiful journey with nature and culture. This trek takes you to a stunning Prashar Lake. It is situated at an altitude of 8,960 feet (2,730 m). It also rewards you with stunning views of the mountains like Dhauladhar, Pir Pranjal, and Kinnaur ranges.
The trek path goes through green fields, forests of pine and oak, and quaint villages. The Prashar Lake has crystal-clear waters and has a floating island. The island moves in different seasons, which is really cool to see.
During the trek, you’ll also visit the Prashar Rishi Temple. It dates back to the 13th century and you can marvel at its pagoda-style architecture.
This trek is not too difficult and it is perfect for both beginners and seasoned trekkers. The trek is 16 kilometres long and takes around 8 hours to complete. Prashar Lake Trek also offers camping opportunities near the lake for a truly immersive experience.

How to Reach:
- By Air: The nearest airport to Prashar Lake is Bhuntar Airport. From Bhuntar, Mandi is located approximately 78.7 kilometres away and can be reached by taxi. It will take around 2 hours 10 minutes to reach via NH 3.
- By Train: The nearest railway station to Mandi is Joginder Nagar Railway Station. You can take a direct train from Delhi to Pathankot. Once at Pathankot, you can take a direct train to Joginer Nagar. Dhauladhar Express, Durg Jat Express, and DLI PTK Express are some of the trains that run from Delhi to Pathankot to Joginer Nagar.
- By Road: Mandi is well-connected from cities like Shimla, Chandigarh, Pathankot, and Delhi. You can drive your own car or book a bus in advance.

- No bill will be reimbursed for any missed service/facility.
- Keep your luggage minimum; the more you carry, the more you hassle.
- Any personal expenses, items of personal nature, meals not mentioned, etc. will not be in part of the package.
- Mobile & laptop charging points may/may not be available on campsites at a common point.
- Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations.
- It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the trek.
- Please note that in the event of emergencies or natural calamities, the management reserves the right to modify the trek itinerary. However, any changes due to circumstances beyond our control is not covered in the package cost.
- Since its difficult to provide all the facilities in the mountains, one must not expect luxuries. Electricity may be available only at a few locations.
- Bonfire would be dependent on weather conditions.
