Situated 20 Km from Sonmarg, Vishansar Lake is a high-altitude lake set at a height of 3710 meters. Vishansar means “the lake of Lord Vishnu” and therefore is considered to be a substantial part of the Hindu religion. The lake is special as it freezes during the winter which is a stunning site for tourists.

However, it is no less in the summer when the greenish-blue water of the lake is surrounded by stunning greenery and massive mountain ranges that touch the sun.
