How To Reach Gadsar Lake

By Road:

On Foot (Trekking): Start from Sonmarg which is 80 km from Srinagar. It typically takes 2 to 3 days from Sonmarg, passing through Nichnai Pass, Vishansar Lake, and Krishansar Lake. This is a moderate to challenging trail with steep ascents and scenic meadows.

By Pony: Pony rides are available from Sonmarg or Nichnai Pass which takes approximately 1 to 2 days, depending on the starting point. It is suitable for beginners, families, or those carrying heavy gear.
