About Tibetan Monastery
The Tibetan Monastery offers tourists a unique opportunity to delve into the heart of Tibetan culture and spirituality. As part of your Manali package, you can explore the monastery's tranquil grounds, witness traditional rituals, and even purchase authentic handicrafts as keepsakes of your journey.
Location: There are two local Tibetan Monasteries in Manali. One is located near the mall in the city and the other one is at Pangran, which is around 8 KM from Patlikuhl.
Highlight: This monastery is quite famous for weaving unique and colorful carpets. Most of the local people contribute to the handmade art and craft that is sold through the monasteries. You will surely love to buy them after seeing how beautiful they are.
Best time to visit: As such there is no specific best time to visit the monastery. But if you are planning a trip to Manali, it would be best to avoid the rainy season as you wouldn't be able to enjoy everything here.
