Sumhuram Archaeological Park Overview
Previously a fortified town, Khor Rori, relevant to the frankincense trade, the place is now known as the Sumhuram archaeological park. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this place is an active archaeological park and museum. Here, you will witness archeologists conducting excavations to discover ancient ruins. Moreover, the exotic location of the park overlooks the gorgeous Khor Rori creek.

Here, the city ruins remain in tip-top conditions, and you can actually see the outline of the buildings. Within the museum, you will find a wide range of collections and displays ranging from the first century BC till the third century AD.
