10 Days Tamang Heritage Trek In Kathmandu Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu

    Get transferred to your hotel upon arrival at the airport.

    After the check in at the hotel, begin your exploration.

    In the evening enjoy an authentic Nepali dinner in a local restaurant.

    Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 - Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour

    Enjoy sightseeing in Kathamadu.

    Visit the cultural heritages of Kathmandu like the Kathmandu Durbar Square and the temples like Swayambhunath, Boudhanath and Pashupatinath in Kathmandu boasts the rich culture and religious harmony in the country.

    Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Day 3 - Drive from Kathmandu to Syarubesi

    Today you will drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, a small beautiful village serving as a starting point of many treks in the Langtang region.

    Enjoy the outstanding views of Manaslu, Annapurna and Ganesh Himal.

    Continue the trek until you descend to the small village of Syabrubesi.

    Overnight stay in Syabrubesi.

  • Day 4 - Syarubesi to Gatlang

    Start the trek from Syabrubesi.

    Reach the viewpoint where you can get a spectacular view of Ganesh Himal, Gosaikunda range and the Goljang valley.

    From here the trail descends to Goljang valley enjoying views of the Ganesh Himal, Shishapangma, LangtangLirung and others.

    Overnight stay at Gatlang.

  • Day 5 - Gatlang to Tatopani

    Begin trek from Gatlang with a descent to Thangboche

    Reach Tatopani - take a dip into the natural hot water.

    Overnight stay in Tatopani.

  • Day 6 - Tatopani to Thuman

    Trek from Tatopani to Thuman via Brimdang and Nagthali.

    Reach Nagthali, enjoy the mesmerizing views of Langtang, Sanjen, Kerung and Ganesh Himal accompanied by warm tea.

    Continue walking till Tamnag village of Thuman.

    Overnight stay in Thuman.

  • Day 7 - Trek from Thuman to Briddim

    Begin trekking to Timure.

    Continue walking till Briddim, a Buddhist village located on the lap of the Langtang Himal.

    Overnight stay in Briddim.

  • Day 8 - Trek from Briddim to Syabrubesi

    Start trekking to Syabrubesiand follow the Bhote Kosi River on the left side of the valley to the north.

    Overnight stay in Syarubesi.

  • Day 9 - Drive from Syabrubensi to Kathmandu

    After breakfast, take a five hour long drive back to Kathmandu along the winding road.

    Check in into hotel and get some much needed rest.

    Stroll around the vibrant Thameland, visit some nice restaurants in the city.

    Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

  • Day 10 - Departure

    Get dropped back to the airport in a private car or bus.

    Drop at airport for departure.

    Depart for home.

    End of tour.
