- After visiting Zuluk, you will head to Nathang to enjoying the sightseeing in the hills, and then onto Reshikola before getting transferred to Bagdogra or NJP for your return journey.

Its various attractions like picturesque surrounding, pristine ambiance, azure lakes, magnificent Buddhist monasteries, Khanchendzonga-the third highest peak in the world, lush forests and snow-clad peaks make it a true natural paradise. Falling on the famous ancient Silk Route, this tour takes you on a journey of the same exciting trade roads.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival at Bagdogra | Transfer to Sillery Gaon

    After your arrival at the Bagdogra Airport/NJP railway station, you will meet our representative who will transfer you to the small village of Sillery Gaon.

    Located at the height of 6000 ft above sea level, the scenic village is situated in the middle of a forest with a beautiful view of the Kanchenjunga mountain.

    Overnight at Silery Gaon.

  • Day 2 - Transfer to Aritar

    After breakfast, you will be leaving to reach a district in East Sikkim called Aritar. The place is known for unbeatable greenery, mountains and rivers.

    Marvel at the lakes of the area and the best view of the entire Kanchendzonga range. Also witness the amazing slopes used for terrace farming in the region.

  • Day 3 - Transfer to Zuluk/Dzuluk | Experience of the Old Silk Route

    After breakfast this morning, you will be on your way to reach the offbeat destination of Zuluk. You will first have to go through procedures and documentation to get permits for the place.

    Lying on the ancient Silk Route, the place is a scenic wonder in the state of Sikkim.

    Situated at a height of more than 10,000 ft above sea level, Zuluk is blessed with emerald forests, sweeping hills with deep valleys and occasional waterfalls, mountain slopes strewn with terrace farming and majestic view of the mighty Khangchendzonga range.

    Perched on a rugged terrain, the primitive town of Zuluk lies very close to the Indo-China Border, and was once famous for being a stop point on the Silk Route.

    You will have the evening free at your leisure.

  • Day 4 - Transfer to Nathang

    The drive for the day will be a rocky one as it is prone to ice and rough weathers.

    After breakfast, you will start the journey towards Nathang which will take you as high as 13000 ft above sea level. You will be stopping at Rongli for permits and documentation.

    From there, you will make your way to the Thambi View Point at 11000 ft.

    Also falling on the day are visits to Lungthung at 13000 ft, Gnathang Valley, Tukla Valley (12500 ft), Jepepla Pass Viewpoint and Kupup Lake. Also visit the Yak Golf Course, highest in the world and located at a height of 13,025 ft above sea level.

    Overnight at Nathang.

  • Day 5 - Transfer to Reshikola

    After breakfast, get a transfer to Reshikola, which is a riverside town just 37 km from Kalimpong.

    Getting its name from the river that flows right beside the town, the place is ideal for a quaint getaway in the hills.

  • Day 6 - Return to Bagdogra/NJP Railway Station | End of Experience

    On the last day of the trip, you will have your breakfast in Reshikola and leaving for catching your return flight/train, bringing the experience to an end.

  • As per North East guidelines, Vehicles are not on disposal & may not deviate from the itinerary unless any issue occurs such as bad weather, Political/social disturbances, roadblocks, VVIP movements & state transport rule prohibition. Transport services are from point to point only. Also, Sumo/Bolero is not allowed in the main market area between 8:00 – 20:00 thus these vehicles are not allowed to drop/pick up the travelers directly to/from hotel in Sikkim, Darjeeling, Gangtok & Pelling.

  • Nathula Pass is Indo-China Border which is operated by the Indian Army. There are some limitations to the entry of civilians therefore this place is optional in the itinerary. Travelers can opt for visiting this place at an additional charge directly to the tour operator. However, whether the travelers will be permitted to Nathula pass still depends on the instructions of Sikkim Tourism on the particular day of visit morning at 09:30 AM. Also, Nathula Check Post closes at 10:30 am & is closed on Monday & Tuesday every week.

  • Nathula Pass can be added at an extra cost 4000 INR/car, payable on the spot and is subjected to availability. (Applicable if Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir is included in the package

  • The services in Tata Sumo/bolero/ non-luxury car (Allotted from Govt local union) cannot be guaranteed in a good condition as the vehicles are usually very old and are already driven for more than 1 lakh kilometer in hilly terrains. We avoid arranging these cars for travelers.

  • North Sikkim includes tribal villages like Lachen & Lachung which has beautiful scenic views of Kanchenjunga range however they are very remote destinations where the accommodation quality may vary compared to accommodations in Gangtok or Darjeeling. The accommodation is very basic in nature, One may not expect luxuries here. There are no star categories in remote destinations such as Lachen & Lachung

  • Senior citizens and travelers younger than 4 years are not recommended to go to Gurudongmar Lake because of low oxygen. Permits for the infant under 2 years of age are not granted by North Sikkim tourism that means if you have a baby, You will not be allowed to go to North Sikkim.

  • Zero Point is not included in Itinerary & is optional. It is completely dependent on the weather.

  • Heavy rainfalls are observed between June – September which means that real-time itinerary changes are possible. In case the roads are blocked due to landslides or any other natural calamity, a permit to go to North Sikkim may not be issued. Thrillophilia will arrange alternate sightseeing for the travelers however cost of alternative accommodation needs to be borne by the customer as the hotels pre-booked execute their cancellation policies & are nonrefundable. This is generally what happens when you book the hotels yourself as well.
