This is a magical place that offers you plenty of sites the views are spectacular. There are many small qaint villages that have grassy meadows, clear water springs, surrounded by the snow clad mountains and the elegance of the desolate landscape made our trip memorable.

Thattekad Bird Sanctuary

The sanctuary is quite easily accessible from the Kochi International Airport so we had no problem. Thanks to the instructor who led us through the the mysterious jungle and explored the beautiful Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. I stayed at the Jungle Homestay and really liked their service. You will love to see those beautiful birds but don't expect any large animals.
