Strobilanthes Kunthianus, fondly known by the name of Neelakurinji is the shrub that gives the Nilgiri hills (Blue mountains) their name from the purplish-blue flowers of Neelakurinji. Enveloping the Western Ghats in blue, Neelakurinji blooms once in 12-years, making it an impeccable spectacle.
Trek to top of the mountain as it is best enjoyed on the Mountaintops from where we get panoramic views of these Kurinji flowers stretching far off the lands and forming a picturesque purple carpet. How to reach Neelakurinji Trek Starting Point:
Nearest Railway Station and Airport is Kochi. From Kochi, Munnar is around 130 km away. One can hire a cab and reach Munnar. Neelakurinji trek, near Pothamedu, is around 2.5 Km from Munnar bus stand.

Difficulty Level of Trek is moderate, therefore an individual above 11 years can book this package
Two nights three days trekking & camping:-
For all the three days, our trekking will start, at 9:00 am and end at 4:30pm. From munnar the trekking starts and it goes to Mattupetty hills. We will walk through the tea plantations and forests, mountain ridges and end at the camp site.
