Surrounded by deodar trees rising high above the rocky hills, this stay offers a lush green view and is a cottage with lovely local character, comforts, and spirituality. This stay is located between the two sets of ancient Shiva temples that render energy naturally in the quaint town of Jageshwar. It is the first Himalayan Spiritual Lodge in Kumaon that helps meditators and spiritual seekers find quiet places for their practices. The stay comprises 6 rooms that are cosy with traditional Kumaoni style of construction, all with modern en-suite facilities like hot and cold running water, fresh towels, toiletries, housekeeping, room service,
etc.
The stay conducts many yoga and meditation classes. Guests can take part in the Yoga classes guided by our in house Yoga Instructor. Derived from the Sanskrit word “yuji,” meaning yoke or union, yoga is an ancient practice that brings together mind and body. Guests can get the asanas right and practice Hatha Yoga with focusing on their breathing and inner self, taking in the surroundings, the sounds of nature leave rustling, rivulet flowing, birds chirping, and relaxing.

-At the stay, guests can unwind on the terrace soaking in the morning sun with a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea and their favourite book.
-Gazing into the Deodar forest, one can spot birds that melodiously chirp in the area.
-There is nothing like a packed lunch under the Deodar trees while sitting on a large rock by the rivulet. Make paper boats or simply watch the small fish swim around. For the adrenaline and more adventurous people, dip your feet in the chilly water.
-Guests can head out to visit the Jageshwar valley temples, which are a group of over 100 Hindu temples dated between the 7th and 12th centuries and a famous site for trekking and avifauna.
-Guests can also walk around the local villages, admiring the traditional old houses with carved wooden doors and windows. A visit to Jageshwar is incomplete without interaction with a local family accompanied by a local traditional Kumaoni meal. Sit around the bonfire listening to the local folklore and Kumaoni music and songs.

The stay is around 35 km from Almora and 98 km from Nainital. Guests can easily reach the stay using any private/public transportation.
