Amazon Pampas Adventure In Bolivia

Itinerary

• Day 1 -

  Catch an early flight around 06:00 AM from La Paz to Ruurenabaque and then make your way to Rurrenabaque city center.

  The tour starts off at around 08:45 AM.

  Set on a jeep journey to Santa Rosa where you will pass through Amazon villages and arrive at Santa Rosa by noon.

  It is a small town on the banks of Yacuma river. Enjoy lunch here that includes hot soup, meat, rice, yucca, vegetables and fresh fruits.

  From Santa Rosa, proceed to Yacuma river via a boat and spot some freshwater dolphins that are escorting your boat.

  Arrive at the jungle eco lodge around 04:00 PM, freshen up and have some time to relax in a hammock.

  Head out to visit a local family settled near the river, mingle with them and another travellers there.

  Post dinner from the lodge, head out on a boat to find the nocturnal predators in the deep jungle with your flashlights.

• Day 2 -

  Post breakfast, head out into the the grasslands in search of Anacondas, remember to wear the high rubber boots.

  Choose either to swim in the river or lie down for a siesta in the shade.

  After lunch, get ready to go for fishing to catch pirahnas.

  As evening sets in, head to a spot where other set of travellers will also be hanging out.

  Enjoy beer or enjoy some good fun with the fellow travellers.

  After which retire for the night.

• Day 3 -

  For those who wake up early there are opportunities to have a pre- dawn ride along the river. Spot some wild animals on the way and settle at a point to watch sunrise.

  Post breakfast, set off to a small lake where you can see more pink dolphins. If you would like, jump into the water for a swim with the dolphins.

  Return to the lodge, have lunch and pack your things and get ready for your return ride to Rurrenabaque.

  Overnight stay at Ruurenabaque.

• Day 4 -

  Make your own way to the airport and take your flight back to La Paz.
