Aladdin Lamps

In beautiful brass lamps encrusted with stones or meticulous carving, the tale and mystery of Aladdin find a home. Smaller versions of these can be stowed in baggage and used as exotic gifts for loved ones back home. Although the Karama Souk is not a classic market, a leisurely stroll down the pavements will reveal a handful of these precious marvels.

Another safe bet is the Al-karama market in Bur Dubai, which is located close to the fish market. While you can practise haggling here, a well carved lamp or one with a lot of stones or inlay work would set you back several hundred Dirhams.

Camel milk products, a delicacy of Dubai and one of the best things to buy in Dubai, are well-known for their appealing taste. Camel milk chocolates are so rare that only one firm makes them: Al Nassma. Whole milk, dates, 70% cocoa, macadamia, and spicy chocolate bars are among the five flavours available. The chocolates in the shape of camels are the most popular.

Lanterns

Traditional Emirati homes have glass and mirror-inlaid lanterns that serve as a superb centrepiece and bring a room to life. These lanterns are made with a lot of care and attention to detail, and as a result, they make excellent gifts. A lantern made of copper and tin with a lot of filigree work on it would be a valued gift. Look for one with microscopic shards of glass woven throughout the design.

Alternatively, you might choose one that is octagonal in shape and constructed of brass. Such lanterns are often adorned with a huge number of exquisite embellishments. In addition, they have a crossing of metal and glass in their design, which allows for fantastic shadow play.

Dubai Dates

Dried fruits are a popular snack among Dubai residents. The high quality of the dates grown here has made them a tourist favourite as well. They can be eaten raw, used in pastries, served with coffee, made into non-alcoholic beverages, and given as gifts during Ramadan.

Dates are regarded as rich sources of nutrients such as magnesium, calcium, copper, and others, in addition to their economic benefits. You'll find a broad variety of Dates in Dubai; try them all and choose the ones that suit you best. If you have a full day of sightseeing ahead of you, this small power-snack is one of the best things to buy in Dubai.

Hookahs

A hookah is found in almost every Arab home in Dubai and throughout the Arab world. Some of these are only aesthetic, while others provide a refreshing treat for a group of visitors. In fact, beautiful and expensive hookahs are frequently displayed prominently in people's homes.

One with a long flexible hose and a glass base adorned with 12 karat gold would be a delightfully lavish gift. Three feet would be perfect. If you're searching for a portable version, the smaller 20" version is a good choice. Two pipes are included with some hookahs. The Deira covered souks are a great place to pick up a beautiful hookah.

Electronic Items

Despite the fact that electrical gadgets are not a specialty of Dubai, they are cheaper in Dubai stores than in many other markets. Everything appears to be more affordable, including smartphones, tablets, computers, LED TVs, cameras, and on and on. Amazing experience I enjoyed Burj Khalifa and underwater zoo alot. Thanks Thrillophilia for advance tickets booking options.
Excellent
"it was a great experience. I was bit apprehensive, when I booked through thrillophilia. but, they really organized it well. I booked a VIP package (costing 3800 per person). they arranged for private pick up in Nissan Petrol. They took us to camp, which is little far but better than Al Avir. \n\nLocal operator Mr. Danyal is a nice person. He took a great care of us. \n\nwe were provided land cruiser for dune bashing. then quad bike for 20-25 mins. after that, we did horse ride and camel ride. although camel ride and horse ride were namesake only. they would allow for 2 mins only and if you want to take a longer ride, you need to pay extra. so I skipped it. \n\nCamp had good performances like belly dance, Tanura show, Fire show and Jumba. Food was served on the table. Food quality was average.\n\nalthough, In the camp, they would try to get you money through multiple activities like sand art, Premium fruit salad, premium desserts, handbags, photo printouts, photo with eagle etc. And one needs to hard bargain. like I paid 20 dhiram for photos, they started with 150 dhiram."
