After coming down from Golden Mt., the journey continues to Bamrung Muang Rd.,one of the oldest streets in Bangkok. Stop at Ban Baat, the only remaining village of three established in Bangkok by King Rama I for the purpose of handcrafting bà at (monk’s bowls). Monk bowls are used to collect alms/offers from the faithful Buddhists every early morning. Villagers here still make the Batt for a living. Move on the dame road passing the old shop houses, built since end of 19th century, selling monk's accessories and different sizes of Buddha images from tiny little ones to gigantic sizes.
Visit a the majestic Wat Suthat,a royal temple with a stunning precious Buddha, aged over 700 years old. Take a photo with Sao Ching Cha or The Giant Swing,m a magnificent structure made of teak wood.
The trip continues with a drive on a Tuk Tuk, passing the old historical part of Bangkok to Wat Ratbophit,a hidden but beautiful temple. You will be amazed by the temple’s architectural exterior with exquisite European influenced interior.
Visit Brahmin Chapel, before stopping at old streets which have a lot of non-luxurious but food stands, along the road sides. Most of the shops here have opened for more than half a century. Just about in time for lunch. The streets truly invite you to try local food along the way.
A chance for you to try typical Thai lunch of your choice e.g Pad Thai, noodle soup, Pad Kra Pao (pork fried with brazil leafs & chilli), roasted duck/pork.)
After lunch is a a visit to Tiger Shrine, the most popular worshiping destination in Thailand. The Thai-Chinese come to pay homage and ask for their wishes from the Tiger God.
Take a short ride on a ferry or Tuk Tuk to Thailand’s popular backpacker street, Khao San Road.
Last but not least, after walking the whole day, let us cherish you with a traditional Thai foot massage. After a relaxing massage, take a famous form public transport, Chaopraya Taxi Boat and savor the evening view of the river, observing the Bangkokians daily life as it is time for them to go home. Many Bangkokians still choose to use taxi boat since it is much faster than being stuck in the heavy traffic.
