Souk Central Market

The Souk Central market is one of the most signficant souks in Abu Dhabi. It is located in the heart of the old city and is filled with a variety of barasti stalls. The shops here are a mixture of high-end boutiques, cafes and souvenir shops. It is also connected to the World Trade centre mall so your entire shopping list can be crossed off here
You can buy from a variety of local spices, vintage lamps, home decor and many more on your visit here. The souk central is also one of the oldest markets in the city so you can also learn a lot about traditional architecture of the Gulf here.

Iranian Souk

Situated next to the Dhow Harbour, the Iranian souk in Abu Dhabi will take you back in time to Arab history. It has a plethora of stalls huddled with traditional wooden products. These authentic products are shipped from Iran and other neighbouring countries at economical prices
You can also find Persian carpets, trinkets, rugs in this open air market. Since it is located near the Dhow Harbour and Mina Fish market you can also purchase an array of seafood from here.

Al Mina Souk

Located in Mina Zayed Port, the Al Mina souk in Abu Dhabi is famous for fresh fruits and vegetables shipped from different parts of the globe. You can find coconuts shipped from Sri Lanka, tomatoes shipped from Jordan, bananas shipped from India and many other items at great deals here.
Recently they added a new section to the souk to endorse Emirati produce to support local farmers. You can also find different types of Middle East dates such as barhi, fard, khalass, and many more sold exclusively in Abu Dhabi. You must definitely step in your bargaining shoes here since negotiation is very important for shopping in this souk.

The carpet souk in Abu Dhabi is the must visit souk of UAE. The place is flooded with more than 100 stores selling different types of carpets such as Persian rugs, silk rugs, afghani carpets, Yemeni mattresses and many more. You can also find upholstery goods here at affordable rates
If you are looking for something tailor-made for you then there are various shops that make handmade customised carpets according to the desires of the customers. Although they are a little more expensive than the machine ones, you will find real craftsmanship woven on them.

The Souk Al Zafarana is a place which truly exhibits the traditional and authentic Emirati culture.
