Required Travel Documents

Before travelling to Singapore, you must know about the documents (visa and passport) you would require to travel. Indian Nationals need to apply for a visa before travelling to Singapore. 

The visa allows you a stay for a maximum period of 30 days. The visa application process is fairly easy. You just need to apply for the visa and make payments online, and the visa will be delivered at your doorstep. 

You can travel multiple times for 2 years once you get the visa.

Necessary documents you need to carry along includes, a bank statement that shows you have enough money for your stay in Singapore, passport with a validity of 6 months from the date of arrival, recent passport size photographs, leave letter from applicant’s workplace/university, income tax papers of last 3 years, and confirmed return flight tickets.

EZ Link

The EZ link card is a contactless stored value card introduced by the Singapore government for public transit use on MRT, LRT and local buses. 

The EZ link makes travelling much faster and smoother as you don’t need to worry about change and standing in queues for buying tickets. You can also use EZ link card to pay for meals at McDonald’s.

Owning an EZ link card makes travelling easier in Singapore. If you are planning to stay in Singapore longer than a week, get an EZ link card to save smartly on MRT and LRT. 

Buy them from an MRT station and get entitled to a discount of 30%. You can top up your EZ card directly through your credit card or your bank account and can be easily used to transport and at retail stores.
