Mecca Masjid

One of the oldest Mosques in the city, Mecca Masjid or Makkah Masjid is the largest mosque in India which can accommodate around 10,000 people in it. Salar Jung Museum

Located in the southern part of Hyderabad near the Musli river, Salar Jung Museum is one of the three National Museums of India. It was inaugurated in 1951 and has a collection of various textiles, manuscripts, metallics, ceramics, and clocks from countries like Japan, China, USA, Nepal, Burma (now Myanmar), Egypt, Europe, and India. Salar Jung Museum has around 38 galleries which are spread on two floors and it is one of the best historical places in Hyderabad.

Taramati Baradari

Taramati Baradari is an ancient and historical Sarai which was built in the 1880s. Baradari is a building with 12 open doors to allow free-flow of air and Taramati Baradari is one of its kind monument in Hyderabad. It is located along the Musi river near the Persian-style garden, Ibrahim Bagh and is very close to Golconda Fort and it is one of the best historical places in Hyderabad.
Taramati Baradari is now an open complex with an auditorium that can accommodate around 1600 people. Alongside an auditorium, the Baradari also has an air-cool theatre, a banquet hall and a very famous multi-cuisine restaurant.

Malwala Palace

Its brilliant Qutb Shahi style of architecture is breathtaking and attracts many tourists from all over India.
Constructed in 1671, the front side of the mosque has 5 arches or openings which have lotus designs on them. There are two pillars embarked on two sides of the mosque and each of the pillars is around 20 meters tall. The mosque is also popular in the locality for its cleanliness.

Thousand Pillar Temple

The oldest and one of the famous historical places in Hyderabad, Thousand Pillar Temple or Sri Rudreshwar Temple is located in a small town of Hanamkonda near Hyderabad.
