Mahe

Mahe is the perfect getaway from the loud and busy city life. It is an archipelago located in the Indian Ocean between 40 and 1600 kilometers from Africa's east coast. You will be surprised knowing the place has around 115 islands and among those, Mahe is the largest. It is a dreamy location with around 24000 inhabitants. So if you are planning to make a trip to exotic islands, this is the perfect place.

People come here from different parts of the world to admire the richness of flora and fauna. Moreover, the powdery-fine white sand, crystal-clear water, round boulder formations, and lush green palm trees make it a perfect location for enjoying the weekend. This remote island evokes the idea of paradise as it is beautifully lined with palm trees, a turquoise ocean, and white sand. Seychelles has so much to explore, and it is a truly varied and multi-faceted holiday destination.

Furthermore, it has so many beautiful beaches, like Anse Lazio, the most famous picturesque spot in Seychelles. Another is the Anse Georgette, where people come for snorkeling and get enchanted in the turquoise ocean surface. Moreover in Victoria city, you can explore the famous clock tower and the beautiful botanic garden. Apart from visiting places, there are hundreds of activities that you can try as well.

When speaking about activities, how can we miss Game Fishing. It is the most popular activity that the locals enjoy, so make sure to try it. Apart from this, try golf, horse riding, scuba diving, mountain hikes, snorkeling, and other sea activities. These activities include kiteboarding, windsurfing, sailing, jet-skiing, kite surfing, and paragliding. Mahe is the most fun place with the enormous option of water-based sports for visitors to try.

You also don't have to be worried about the weather that your activity will spoil due to cold water. The place is blessed with tropical temperatures all year long that ranges from 24 to 30 degrees. This means it is never too cold for deep-sea diving or other water sports. However, if you plan to visit Seychelles, make sure you visit in either the month of April-May when the climate is hot and humid for underwater diving or October-November when the weather is cool for sailing.
