Located on the eastern shores of La Digue, this pretty bay is accessible only by foot. Owing to its scenic locale, Anse Cocos is a popular spot for photography and shoots. Riddled with smart granite boulders, the little beach features shallow but pretty pools.
Being far more sheltered than its sister beaches, Anse Cocos is a perfect location for swimming, although the currents here should be tested before properly venturing out. With extensive forests stretching along its coast, there is no shortage of shade at the beach. The road leading up to Anse Cocos is a bit of a challenge, making it a perfect destination for hikers and trekkers as well.
