Several direct flights operate from Delhi and Chandigarh to Bhuntar Airport. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take an HRTC bus to reach Manali in 1.5 to 2 hours. Since flight availability is limited on this route, it is advisable to book your tickets in advance for better prices.

2. By Rail

Manali is well-connected to major Indian cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, and Kolkata by train. The closest railway station to Manali is Joginder Nagar Railway Station, located 165 kilometres away. However, the most convenient option is to travel to Chandigarh Railway Station, situated 270.5 kilometres away from Manali. After reaching the station, you can hire a private taxi or take a luxury Volvo bus to reach Manali in 8 to 10 hours.

3. By Road:

  • By Bus: Several direct buses operate from cities like Delhi, Kullu, Dharamshala, Chandigarh, and Shimla to Manali. You can take a government or private-run luxury Volvo bus from any of these locations to reach Manali in 11 to 12 hours.
