How To Reach

  • By Car: The Rose Garden is about 2.5 km from Bern’s city centre. It takes around 10 minutes via the Guisanplatz route.
  • By Bus: Take bus line 10 from Bern Station to the Bern, Rosengarten station. The journey takes about 12 minutes, followed by a short 5-minute walk to the Rose Garden.
  • By Train: Arrive at Bern’s main train station (Schweiz. RailCity Bern). The Rose Garden is about 1.5 km away, a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride.
  • By Tram: You can also take tram line 9 to the Bern, Rosengarten stop. The tram ride takes about 15 minutes, followed by a 5-minute walk to the garden.
  • By Foot: Walk through the Old Town, cross the Aare River bridge, and climb the pathway to the garden. The walk from the city centre to the Rose Garden takes about 10 minutes.
