KUNTHU KAL BEACH

If one wants to slip away for a day from Rameswaram mainland, then head right over to Kunthukul Beach, it is  located 12 km away from Rameswaram and makes for the perfect road trip with friends and family to enjoy the view of the Pamban Bridge and other islands surrounding Rameswaram.

Kunthukal shoreline is often called as a getaway heaven of Tamilnadu. This small fishing village has Impressive turquoise blue narrows, marvelous characteristic prosper, quietness with verdant coconut palms and includes a wide variety of flora around. Whether you’re looking for recreation, watersports, or just simple relaxation, Kundthukal is one of the chillest places to visit in Rameswaram.

A commemorating memorial is also situated on the beach, it is dedicated to Swami Vivekanand for when he returned from his participation in the “ World Parliament of Religions” held in Chicago, USA.
