KING MIHAI PARK

This stunning park is the refuge for the city people and visitors to find green lush landscapes and peaceful quality time with their loved ones. The park also offers its visitors various activities to enjoy like sports, cultural activities, entertainment events and more. It was named King Mihai park after the last sovereign of Romania, carrying the footprints of all the city changed through. 

The beautifully landscaped park houses statues and structures that pay homage to the history and changes the city has undergone through years. Visitors will find regular jogger’s and locals enjoying some relaxing time with their loved ones. The southern walls of this iconic park also feature two coats of arms of Bucharest - one belonging to the 19th century and the other which belongs to the present age.

The park has an ensemble of statues to welcome the regulars as well as visitors, providing a beautiful view for sightseeing as well as clicking pictures during the visit. Another amazing feature of the popular park is the Modular Fountain, designed and crafted by the architect Stoicescu. These fountains are a great backdrop to enjoy a quiet and peaceful evening with your family and loved ones. The beautiful park has a variety of lush green trees, including vegetation like willows, maple trees, ash, linden trees and more.
