The Holmfield park is part of the aberration of three parts that come together to make Wakefield Park. Nestled just a 15 minute walk away from the centre of the city, the park also has the home-field arms situated in the formal house on the grounds.
This wonderful park is one of the three parks and is nestled between Denby Dale Road and Thornes Road that come together to make Wakefield park. It is the smallest of the three parks and still houses one of the most unique statues - of a rhubarb.
As this park is just a 15-minute walk from the center of the city, it is best to take an evening stroll or spend some relaxing time resting during the city tour. The park also provides a beautiful landscape to enjoy picnics with friends and family. It even houses a brilliant house - The Holmfield House which is the venue for the Holmfield Arms. The park is open to visitors all week and is amazingly beautiful during the spring season.
