The Exploratorium is located in San Francisco, California and is a public learning laboratory that explores the world through the lenses of science, art, and human perception. It is the brainchild of Frank Oppenheimer who viewed art and science as complementary ways of exploring the world. He pioneered the idea of incorporating both into the Exploratorium through hundreds of exhibits which are on display.
The exhibits at Exploratorium are all interactive and you can play with them. Have fun touching a tornado, dancing with your own shadow, stopping time, breaking light apart and doing much more as you navigate the six galleries of the museum. There are more than 650 interactive exhibits in the galleries which are both indoor and outdoor. You must also journey through the world-famous Tactile Dome and spend some time exploring in darkness.
