The Cruickshank Botanic Garden is a beautiful piece of nature and green landscape situated in old Aberdeen on the Kings College campus. The botanic Garden is a result of the partnership between the university and the charitable trust. The main goal of the garden is to promote and applaud the beauty, vibrancy and importance of nature around us. The botanic Garden focuses on the importance of plants and how to play a role in the natural world. The garden sprawls across 11 acres of land and is open to visitors all year round. Its major features are shrub borders, Sangam Garden, Rose Garden, an arboretum, and a rock and water garden. It even houses a very important and beautiful collection of more than 2500 plants in its Arboretum.
