It is located on a picturesque hillside and is constructed in typical Scottish baronial style. The iconic tower house was built in 1576 in Scottish baronial style and since has been preserved and is one of the most loved castles in Scotland. The accident of the tower has remained the same since it was completed in 1626 by William Forbes. The castle was once a family home with cozy interiors and amazing antics read within its beautiful walls. Visitors will find a unique feature in the upper floors of the castle, that is they have no artificial lights at all. They will get to enjoy the iconic historical collection of artifacts and arts in the shifting light from the sun and experience them exactly how they were when originally made.
