AUTOMOBILE AND FASHION MUSEUM

Among the most unique Malaga tourist attractions to visit, the most extensive auto-related museum in Spain is the Automobile and Fashion Museum. The visit to the museum is interwoven with the three extremely disparate subjects of autos, fashion, and art. Visitors from all over the world come to see the collection of rare vintage cars, prototypes, and design models.

The former tobacco factory, one of Malaga's most beautiful structures, serves as the museum's home (Fabrica de Tabacos). Built in 1927, it has undergone thorough renovation to hold a collection of more than 80 historic and contemporary vehicles, together with stylish travel artefacts from the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s to please non-car aficionados.

The 6000 metre square room has tall ceilings and long, thin windows that allow sunlight to dance flirtatiously on the immaculately polished bonnets. The first vehicle in the display is so old that it resembles a horse-drawn carriage more than a car, although one with a small motor in place of the horse.

From here, we are directed through ten sections that are divided into different time periods and themes, like the Belle Epoque, Art Deco 1930s, Dolce Vita 1950s, and English Tradition, as well as the more modern Alternative Energies, which includes a solar-powered model, and Tuning.
