Bhivpuri is a small town in the Raigad District of Maharashtra, near Kajrat. Apart from various other attractions nearby, the Bhivpuri Waterfall sees numerous tourists from Mumbai and Pune getting roped in by its beauty. Located on the Mahabaleshwar-Pune Road, the Lingmala Waterfall is a majestic waterfall, with the water dropping to 600 feet below its origin. This waterfall is located about 6 kilometers from Mahabaleshwar city, and the Forest Bungalow of Lingmala is situated right beside it. One needs to walk for about two kilometers to reach the waterfall from the entrance. Beside the main waterfall, there is also a mini waterfall inside the vicinity that is suitable for swimming and enjoying inside the water.

The Lingmala Waterfall also serves to be a breathtaking viewpoint for other waterfalls including the Dhobi Falls and Chinaman’s Waterfall. The water from this fall also goes on to flow into the Venna Valley and further into Venna River.

Sitting by the Parvara River, Bhandardara is a small village near Igatpuri which is home to the iconic Umbrella Falls. When the water from Wilson Dam is released, it gushes down heavily and falls on naturally placed rocks, creating a dome-like impression. Hence, the is acquires the name, Umbrella Falls.
