Overview

Trip Location: Bhopal

Salkanpur-Delawadi camping and trekking tour is an experience that will leave you with a number of memories as you take on this amazing experience of exploring the dense forests of Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary. 
On this tour, you will be seeing some of the most amazing attractions of the region like the Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple, rock shelters, and the viewpoint from where we can see the whole forest range.
Also included in the package is the visit to a majestic waterfall where you can take a dip in the cool and crystal clear waters.
After arriving at the campsite for the night which will be on the bed of a lake.
The next day, you will be going to enjoy a number of great activities and adventures in the nearby regions. The activities include River Crossing, Nature Walk, Bird Watching and Trekking to the nearby waterfall.
In the late afternoon and early evening hours, you will check-out of the camps and bring the experience to an end.


Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Bhopal Arrival | Tapkeshwar Mahadev Trek | Lake Bed Camping

    You will be gathering at the railway station in Bhopal to begin the transfer to the starting point of the trek.

    After arrival, you will get a short briefing and fill formalities before you start the trek in the dense forests of Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary.

    During the 14-15 km trek, you will be visiting the Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple, rock shelters and the viewpoint from where you can see the entire forest range. All the while, the guide will give you snippets of information on the flora and fauna of the forest.

    Lunch will be served while on the trek followed by some rest because the trek is inclined. The trek then continues towards the waterfall where you can dip and relax in the crystal cool waters of the ponds. Seeing signs and trails of wild animals during the trek will be an exciting event.

    As you arrive at the campsite on the lake bed after the trekking, you will be welcomed by a warm campfire and a horde of fun activities.

    Enjoy dinner before spending a memorable night in the jungle environs.

  • Day 2 - Adventure Activities

    You will wake up to the sight and songs of many rare migratory birds. After breakfast and refreshing up, you will be getting ready to enjoy activities like River Crossing, Nature Walk, Bird Watching.

    After spending the day in activities and trekking, you will be checking out around 4-5 PM and initiate the return to Bhopal, bringing the experience to an end.
