Had an amazing time with penguins with my family. Watched the famous penguin parade and also we have Witnessed the cute creatures like Penguins & Koalas. All thanks to Thrillophilia.
The Penguin Parade begins each night during sunset when the beautiful penguins return ashore after the day’s fishing. One can watch them waddle across the beach to their sand dune burrows which is an amazing experience. There are approximately 32000 penguins which have called the island their home for thousands of years. The island’s penguin colonies have decreased in number over the years and only one colony remains of the original ten that were present on the island. The Phillip Island Nature Parks is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of wildlife. The island is filled with native Australian wildlife and picturesque landscapes.
It takes about 2-2.5 hours to watch the Penguin Parade including the time taken to arrive there and watch the penguins come ashore from the sea and walk up to their nests along the hillside.
