Wooo It was the moonlight trekking for me while discovering the unseen Kabbaladurga mountains. Sometimes i wonder , i would be lucky to discover the beauty of the place in morning time. Though while returning from the Kabbaldurga, sun was up but we too were tired by then. After getting to the basepoint in the morning, we had a great breakfast and at noon we were served by south indian delicious items.

I had not planned to visit there, but my friends forced me to go there and avail a water sports activity. At that moment I could not decide if I should go with them or not, but my friends kept on insisting. I don’t know swimming so at first I was very scared. But my friends gave me the courage to do so. At the Baina Beach, Goa we went there and with expert guidance I did the speed boat ride and really enjoyed it a lot.

Neelimala View Point Trek

 Rated : 3.0

You may get your shots and take in its awesome natural scenery as much as you can. As you watch the memorable sights of the Meenmutti waterfall in that place, an intermittent total of wide mist could be blocking your sight, but, do not worry, you can wait for few times and as the smog clears out, and on the occasions the sheet of cloud would crack open revealing the waterfall, that is yet another pleasant object to observe.

From my point of view, the top of Neelimala viewpoint gives for some of the great views of the low-lying valley. There are very marvelous trekking trails and Neelimala viewpoint provides a nice panoramic view of the falls which is magnificent Meenmutty.

Neelimala View Point Trek

 Rated : 3.0

After we completed the first phase of ascending, that is about half of a kilometer, the path of the trekking gets a lot narrower and descends down before it is to climb back up again. The vegetation on the sides now changes to long and wild grass, including the famous lemon grass variety. Now the narrow path reaches further up too and just in an instance, opens up into beautiful panoramic view of the surroundings, with the mountain that fold of the well known Western Ghats on your left side and a hilly slope, that is depleted with grass and in that place studded with boulders just on your right side. Now finally we reached the Neelimala view point. This trek is worth a visit and a lot of fun memories will be created with your loved ones here. This is for sure.

Nothing challenging about the Trek at all. The scenic beauty and the Plateau is okay but apart from that the trek is very simple. If you want a family adventurous vacation then you may visit this place but I would not generally recommend it to anyone. The people here are great and the Trek is also Pocket Friendly but not worth a trekking adrenaline rush one.
