The trek was great. I had a nice time here in the Triund. The 22 curves was super fun yet super tiring. It was quite stressful and tiresome, but nevertheless we enjoyed the trek.

i think the money spent on this trip was too much, it could have been lower so that was my complain but as a tourist or holliday destination it was awesome. There were high altitude lakes which impressed me, i wanted to spend some more time there. A lovely experience.

Starting from the visit to Shanti Stupa till the Descending, the whole trip was well planned and executed. The guides were entertaining and friendly. The To and Fro trip was super cool and exciting. Thanks to the organizers for offering me such an affordable deal. When many people mint money in the name of tours, my agents were kind enough to offer me such a deal. That being said, the whole tour is a must have trip.

Loved the expedition: This trip was quite good and interesting. I was initially thinking that one needs to be a pro in swimming for this, but the travel organizers told me that it was not a mandatory criterion though. When I got ahead with this trip, I was pleasantly surprised. It was so interesting and fun. It was llike a dream come true. I enjoyed it a lot. It was brilliant and interesting. I loved the whole experience. It was something that I always wanted to do. I am glad that this got struck from my wish list for good.

The trek was awesome. Triund trek is also known as a tranquil trek, which can be easily taken and accomplished by almost all age groups, just that one needs to be strong and fit. Triund has a very clear and an unambiguous path, which goes through a beautiful mixed forest. The forest consists of oak, deodar and even rhododendron. This trek is fairly easy for the first 5 kilometers, but the last 1 kilometer is super tough as it requires a lot of toil. The last one kilometer is also known as the “22 curves” as it has 22 stressful curves that you must take before you finally reach Triund. It was overall a nice trek.

Apart from skiing sessions every morning, one get to have a nice camping and a good round of bird watching experience too. We also got evenings free to visit the local town for shopping and sight seeing. This is a week long vacation well spent. The food was good during the trip. It was in fact very tasty and good.

The reason for this name, Chadar Trek, is due to the formation of a dense, thick blanket of the snow. A kind advice is that if you are not a pro trekker, then do not do this trek. I struggled a big time with this trek. It is not an easy job. I saw people who are doing it for 5 years now, feel exhausted and worn out.

The Day one of our trip started with a drive from Haridwar to Jayalgarh. After breakfast at Jayalgarh, we were taught about the basics of rafting, and after a brief session, we started to report to our leader. After lunch we had a basic rafting at the Lower Alaknanda. This was more of a teaching session. After sleeping that night in camp, the next morning we went to Chamoli where we rafter in the Upper Alaknanda until noon and moved to Nandaprayog. After a bit of sight seeing and knowing local culture of Nandaprayog, we spent the night again in tents. The Day 3 was the most challenging day, we rafted from Nandaprayog to Karanprayag. It was super tough and exhausting. However, it was fun. The next day was higher grafe rafting through 10-12 rapids and then stay at Gauchar. The final day ended with Grade 5 rafting at the Kakkar Fall, which is the show stopper of this adventure. After that we went back to Rishikesh.

Snow peaks all around: The Kedar kantha trek will amaze you. In fact, the base camp by itself will impress you the moment you step on it. The full view of famous mountain summits around is sheer pleasure. When I got into the Kedar kantha summit, I felt like touching the sky. Over here all the summits are at eye level. I had a really good time. I loved this totally.

This was my first night trek and cave exploration which started on a bad note since our trip was delayed by around 1.5 Hours. Organizers didn't inform us properly initially which really made us all a little frustrated. However, the entire trek was well organized and guides were quite helpful at all difficult points. It is a small trek of 2 kms but quite difficult. Night under the stars was the best part of our trek but there was no campfire as mentioned in the itinerary. All in all it was a nice experience and no words can describe the beautiful sunrise we witnessed.
