Interesting trek. Apart from food and weather conditions, this trek was a good experience overall.

Trek to Kodachadri, Shimoga

Kodacheri trekking is exceedingly risky and as far as I know it is one of the challenging and adventurous treks that I have been to. Organizing this trek all by myself was a tiresome job, so to simplify things I took this trek deal. Pros: Getting acquainted with a lot of passionate fellow trekkers, having good motivation from trekkers who have more experience and expertise than me is always a great thing that I look forward to during these treks. Cons: This trek can be really tedious, and it is always better if one is well trained beforehand. I guess this must be emphasized to the people who take the trek. Some people were lethargic and were ruining the mood of the fellow trekkers. An advice to anyone trying treks in the initial stages is that do equip yourself well with good stamina and strength training. Also, food available during the trek is so lousy, and it’s always important for people to carry basic essentials during the trek.

Initially I was skeptical about trekking and traveling till Himachal Pradesh just for the sake of trekking. However, I was taken aback when I actually took this trek. This was because to my pleasant surprise the trek was brilliant and it was worth traveling all the way there. As a trek enthusiast, I think taking a trek with a group of people who is not related to us other than the common hobby is good. It simplifies a lot of things. In that way, I am glad that I had some of the best co trekkers.

If you want to witness the Western Ghats to the fullest, you have to pick this trek at the first place. This trek gave me an opportunity to explore the place to the fullest. The stunning beauty of the waterfalls and the vegetation are something which I hadn’t witnessed in any of my previous treks before. I only sad part was of the trek was the unexpected rain which spoiled few days of my trekking.

A trek to Tadiyandamol is the most exciting trek that I have ever taken. This exciting trek unfolded many interesting things which I wasn’t aware of before. This is a perfect get away if you are planning to trek along with friends. I went along with my family and my kids were not able to enjoy the trek as it was tedious as they got exhausted soon.

The nature on the trek trails was beautiful and heavenly. The trek path was however quite challenging. However, I feel the sight was worth the pain taken to trek. I personally think ample prior trek experience will be a plus while taking this trek.

We had a very good trek. It was our first trek after many years, and all of us have gone on treks before, so this was not very demanding and was fine. The beauty of hills and the nature makes the trek a relaxing one too.

Enjoyable trek: Never been on a trek in this part of India, but this trek was worth all the travel as it was very interesting and fun. We loved it so much that we might do the trek again. This is good trek destination no matter if you trek solo or with a group of other trekkers.

I went on this trek with my family. The trek was excellent. The organizers executed the trek as per the schedules. Both Veg and non-veg food items were served. The accommodation was fine except for the Indian style washroom.

The trek is adventurous and exciting. I went alone for this trek. I recommend going along with friends for this trek. The hills are slippery and needs experience to trek. Take up this trek only if you have prior trekking experience.

Amazing trekking experience. I loved the trek overall, but the saddest part was that the guides weren’t able to explain in my language. I was unable to understand the local language that was spoken.

It is always nice to go on solo treks, but again it is better going on solo treks with some random co trekkers. This provided me such good experience and I loved it.

I have no words to say how much I enjoyed this trek. This trek was a brilliant experience. The only drawback was that I found the rates to be costly.

A different world away from the concrete jungle amidst of clouds in the high lands. Trekking in the picturesque beauty was heavenly. The accommodation facilities was not up to the mark that is why our fellow trekkers felt some difficulty. Otherwise a very good experience. Best time to visit is winter fall. Definitely going back but this time with proper hotel bookings.

Tough ascending trekking for a long distance might take you with a surprise. If you are that energetic then Edakkal is good for you. The stay was good but can be better if the hotel service was up to the mark.

In this activity, each group will be divided into different tribes. You and your team will have to present some innovative ideas and choose your own tribal name, jingle and dance. All of this has to be unique to garner good points.

If you are looking for a trek then the place is ok for you otherwise visiting with families and kids is not a smart decision. The trekking will take a toll on the old and young ones.

Too scary for me, really thanks to life jacket and all other safety measures that i had taken felt good but when i reached to the height i got scared, good coordination and expertise is required in during landing time. And thank god I had both of those.
