Kangra Valley Trek, Himachal Pradesh | Flat 21% off

 Rated : 3.0

I have never been alone on a trek before, but this trek I was forced to go alone as my friends dropped out at the last moment, still I decided to move on with this one. Initially I felt a bit weird to be in-between outsiders, but slowly the organizers and my co-trekkers helped me out all the way through and we had a very pleasant and co-operative stay. I ended up getting many friends through this trek.

It was a wonderful experience to camp in Khopoli near Mumbai. The perfect point to relax and family outings at reasonable rate. This is a one day trip in which both camping and sight seeing was conducted. It is rural Maharashtra as I saw many rural people there making their earning . Khopoli Madap hill was the most attracting site for me.

cool breezes at the top... nice food, friends, fun and scenery. It was very good at the bottom, some of us never believed we would be able to make it to the top, but reaching there felt like an accomplishment!!

After Monsoon ,Camping becomes more interesting as Mandap waterfall shows its real beauty. Few notable temples make this place a complete heaven.

The view from the top was just amazing... climbing the top of the fort is risky and cannot be done in rainy season. Good place to go with with your friends and have some adventure... :)

I had a good trek. I have no complaints on the trek organization front, but the trek definitely seemed very tough and risky. It was quite a tiresome one too. Without ample practice and training, the trek cannot be completed successfully. I guess people must be well-equipped physically before taking this trek.

Wao Completely out of the box experience!!! Trekking on three most sacred pilgrim mountains was actually a complete package for us, the trekking adventure lasted for twelve days. The trekking trails are hard and generally not suitable for beginners and apart from trekking sight seeing and temple visiting is of great fun. First the Kalpeshwar is an interesting place to spend some quality time . The belief is that this miracle tree can fulfill all wishes. The temple lies in a cave where lord Shiva is worshiped. Kalpeshwar is a beautiful place surrounded by dense vegetation, and so is other two peaks.

okay let me tell you about two most beautiful attraction of vasota fort region, first is the nageshwar cave which is the sacred temple of lord shiva and second is the koyna dam which is popular for water sports and activities. Where the nageshwar has a unique shivaling on which water drops throughout the year naturally so people consider it a very sacred place. And the koyna dam where one can enjoy boat riding, water scooting and many more things, tourists buzz there quite frequently. So guys who are planning to visit vasota fort then apart from fort, sanctuary and backwater do consider these places as well.

Well Himachal pradesh is very rich in natural beauty, it has mountains, pilgrimage destination, holy rivers, and beautiful villages. After a long time i had this opportunity to visit Gharwal region and embark on trekking on some popular destinations of india which were Tunganath, Rudranath and kalpeshwar. It was an awesome trip, very well managed. Since it was a long two weeks trip we enjoyed our stay and visited all local attractions. After worshipping at Kalpeshwari temple we also visited other small temples. It was less adventurous and more spiritual journey.

Trek To Mullayanagiri and Bababudangiri, Chikmagalur

Wow it almost feels like a big achievement you reach the peak point of Mullayangiri. You can easily recognize Mullayangiri mountains from distance since there is a lord shiva temple on the peak. The trails are short and if you managed to walk fast then it can be completed in about four hours. There is a waterfall, some small caves and a small lake. The final destination can be your trekking on Baba Budan Giri summit, this mountain range is very famous place in India because of it's religious importance.

Kalpeshwar, rudranath and Tun ganath comes under the five purest temples of lord shiva. The temples are located at the beautiful junction and people from all around the country comes to worship here. these mountain peaks are also an ideal trekking destination with all amenities from accommodation, travel to good food. Though trekking on these trails needs stamina and mental strength but with adequate and right way one can easily climb uphills. Trekking lovers must not neglect this awesome trek.

Trekking to Rudranath is easy guys, the trail route includes going through Tolli to Panar and then to Rudranath. Like us if you begin your journey from Tolli it will merely take two days of trekking and then you will reach the Nanda Devi spot. Otherwise you can also start trekking from Kalpeshwar directly but it will be a long trekking then. while trekking you will come across dense forests which looks beautiful in sunny days.

The beautiful journey starts from Rishikesh and all the way crossing Helang to Devgram we reached to Kalpeshwar, though it was an opposite route but we had planned to visit these places as well. Our actual trekking starts on the Kalpeshwar trails and it almost took two days to complete. it was tough and tiring trek but all tiredness went away in just few hours when we spent time in Kalpeshwari temple. In our trip we also saw the alaknanda and Kalpganag river.

The Kalpeshwar temple was the major attraction of Kalpeshwar moreover other temples also lies in the region offering a good place to spend quality time. Well if trekking is not your focus then you can visit these sites separately as a pilgrim visit. Avoid family trekking since trekking is for them. Rudranath and tunganath is densely surrounded by vegetation including the pine forests and oak trees. While trekking in Rudranath you could also spot different habitats of animals and birds.

There are small waterfalls and caves also are prepared by mineral deposits. well this caves are not recommended since it is just home for insects and wild bats. Mullayanagiri is a nice location where camp can be arranged and you can spend some time there also. From the peak point the scenes are just amazing, you could actually see the Baba Budan Giri range. The lord shiva temple on the summit is good place, the priest of the temple manages the temples beauty.

It was a two day trip for us and we thorouhly enjoyed our holiday. We had come all the way from Bangalore on our private car and kept that in parking in the hotel in chikmanglur. from there we took a local guide and then went for out trekking expedition. It was so pleasant to spend some quality time in the peak of Mullayangiri. Trekking is not so though and then the next day we went to see Baba Budan Giri as a casual visit not as trekking. Over all we all enjoyed our trip.

The astounding trek of western ghat is the pair of mountain peaks namely Mullayangiri and Baba Budan Range. Preferred by many professional trekkers the site remains full of tourists in peak seasons between the months of September to March. You will spot all points like the waterfalls, caves, temples and large grasslands. As a precaution it is advisable to take a local guide and packets of water bottles since there is a huge unavailability of water.

well Our two weeks of trekkikng in the holy mountain peaks of himalayas gave us everything, from beautiful sights to discover to might mountains for trekking and flat base ground for camping. Trek to Kalpeshwar peak was really exciting but hard. On reaching the base point only you can enjoy your trekking break. We had a great group who decided to visit the temple so we did, and it was a great time there. After visiting Kalpeshwar we also visited the Rudranath and Tunganath temples.

The spectacular range of mountains of kanakpura and savandurga gives you awesome trekking trails which are moderate and suitable for all aged group people. But because it is a night activity so old ladies and teens should avoid night trekking. Ranganathswami temple is just few steps away which you can visit during day time.

It was a great journey but since it was a night adventure so we got tired of walking ,so we slept there in camp for few hours. Next morning, shivreni trekking was started and being the day trek we had no difficulty in executing it. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
