Roopkund trekking involves trekking in didna village and ali bugyal also, which is one of the country's highest located village, crowded by local shepherds. During our visit we also interacted with them, they not only welcomed us but also guided us further to discover some places that even our tour guide was unknown from. The mountains are spectacular and when you will reach the roopkund lake ,the panoramic views will steal your heart. Sightseeing involves exploring the oak and brich forests, bird watching, visiting water streams and lake itself.

wooo first Himalayan trekking in uttrakhand... i have been a big fan of himachal pradesh and uttrakhand treks. starting from 12500 ft to reach more than 14500 ft was an exciting experience for me. At time i got low and tired of climbing uphill but the surroundings kept me going. The positive excitement is highly required to complete the trek. Since it pretty long trek so that i felt was its negative point. The roopkund is a great place, though not any hotel or lodges are available but you can spend night in tents. overall it was a great trip.

My journey began from Lohajung and the passing via didna village, ali bugyal, ghora latoni and bhagwabasa , we reached roopkund. It was a moderate long trekking journey that tired us and involved lot of time. A guide is must in the region who helps in trekking and exploring sites. During our journey we came across many beautiful deep valleys and dense jungle and i can say that roopkind trek is one of the best in uttrakhand. A must having experience for all.

WOW! I am out of words to explain how awesome the trek was. It was quite a fun trek as always. What made this trek unique though was the interesting way of the schedule of it. It had enough time to relax refresh and chill out without compromising on trek quality.

The trek was awesome. However, the food was bad. The food served all through the trek was consistently bad. That being said, the trek was interesting. The beauty of trek trails, the river, and the various peaks covered were indeed amazing and awesome. I enjoyed it totally.

What a WOW trek. This trek was awesome. I was just sad that the climatic conditions were inconsistent causing havoc during our tent stay. Otherwise, the trek was great.

The trekking experience was awesome. It was a really nice experience. I had a great time overall. The only drawback was slight alterations the team made to the itinerary without informing others.

Do you guys know how I knew about this trek? I read somewhere about the human skeletons lying at the bottom of the lake. This place seems most attractive and famous for that reason. Many claim that these skeletons are distinctly visible when the snow melts. The time I took this trek, it was snow clad and freezing, so I never got to see any of those claims. But even though it was a pretty nice trek.

In our trekking journey from rishikesh to hemkund we came across many intersting points, but when we reached ghangaria for sightseeing i felt it was a sightseeing trip rather than a trekking trip. Just about 3 kilometers we saw the marks of valley of flowers after crossing the bridge. From a long distance you can actually spot the valley of flowers and then coming to the valley we realized how beautiful it was. i recommend everyone to explore all major points of the valley, since it is spread in 10 kilometers so exploring each part is not possible still as an evening walk with your family will feel special

On the third day of trekking from Rishikesh we reached to Ghangari populary known for having the valley of flowers. After one night spent in our camps we had our breakfast we went to see valley of flowers. There are wide range of flowers including the wild and local flowers. You can also, spot some rarely found flowers like inula, corydalis, pedicularis, thermo psis, sibbaldia and saxifrages and so on. we almost spent four hours discovering various nearby places and flowers. The butterflies , fully boom flowers and small buds added a colorful environment in the valley.

We actually went for trekking in the Hemkund Sahib Trek but eventually on the recommendation of some fellow trekkers we decided to make a visit to the flower of valley also. While visiting the valley of flowers i was quite excited to see the different flowers, we even captured photos in my camera. Our hemkund sahib trekking was also commendable, since we got to see different historical points having enchanting views. The valley of flowers added an extra amount of value in the trekking expedition.

The UNESCO recognized world heritage centre is the loved point of many nature lovers. The valley of flowers ia not like any small park but it is a large flower national park of the country. Since its inception in 1937 it has received many recognition for the facilities of tourists there are many low budet hotels offering good service accomodation. Moreover it is an ideal family stay. This is the first camp point while trekking from Govindghat to Ghangaria

The Valley of flowers trek of Himachal Pradesh is the main attraction of the state. we had the fortune to embark on the treks of ghangaria and govindghat and the two day adventure was amazing. The trip comes in budget and the stay at hotel does not mark any necessity of camping. The tour guide gives all details about the flowers, and there is also separate resting place to take rest and explore the park easily.

Rishikesh is an awesome destination for trekking and holiday. The drive from Gangharia to govind ghat gave an opportunity to visit the valley of flowers. The valley of flowers was named as republic park. It is much better to visit such places with family.

Good Things first - boat ride to island was good, they helped us to spot dolphins . Boatman served cold drink few times. We also got puff (onward) and watermelon(return). Scuba diving experience was good. Not so good: It was chaotic to reach the boat from which scuba diving was coordinated. We hopped couple of boats to reach it. The whole activity was less than 10 minutes including briefing, training, diving and back to boat. The lunch break after diving was really at bad location considering the size of the crowd.

Went with my family and kids. Kids and me totally disappointed. Very average place with poor quality sports equipment’s. The only good thing about the place is the pool. Except the pool there isn’t anything. Not worth the money . I think the reviews written are bogus and manipulated on this website. It’s 1.00 PM Now and the lunch is not yet ready.

Location: Can be identified easily. (Arrange for your own transport) Crew: Very supportive & skilled Faculty: Not enough rest room (Only 4). For crowd >50, will be spent waiting here in queue at the end of the day. Restaurant/Food: No Restaurant available, you may get some beverages which will be in room temperature, Food is not soo delicious until you feel you are soo hungry. Options for breakfast & lunch was very very limited. Activities: Rappling, Rafting (in lake) was too good. Overall: 1st time explorers in adventure activities will enjoy.

we stayed there till dinner... it was a wonderful experience. light Breeze was brushing against us while we were having dinner at the open area near the dining halls. All thanks to Mohammed and his staff. A little bad part, we got delayed by one hour at the reception because they were not able to validate our reservation via thrillophilia. we were just standing there with two senior citizens and two kids trying to figure out as what to do. Eventually after one hour we got a chance to go inside the resort. We were told that rain dance will be there throughout the day, but it ended at 3:45 & by the way time we reached inside. Fish spa person asked us not to buy ticket as they will close the spa at 5:00.
