Camping Experience at Mulshi

Wao can’t forget the activities we had there like fishing, tractor and bullock cart rides, bird-watching, and the farm rides . It is somehow silly but it was my first time i sat on bullock cart. A perfect destination for all those people like me who are trapped in the city noise.

Tour a Spice Plantation in Goa

We went to Ponda for the tour. It’s a village nearby Goa. The tour was properly guided through. The owner of the farm was very friendly. She informed us about the advantages of different spices. She gave me some for tasting too. They welcomed us with kumkum and Garlands. It felt like the Indian version of Hawaiian welcome rituals. The best part was Elephants, I love them and they had a lot of them. I even looked at some rare species of birds. It was a good experience, but I’m not going to sign up for it again. Frankly speaking, it felt like a more interactive biology lecture.

We visited both the plantations of Goa, but liked Tropical one much better because it is not crowded at all, we were welcomed in garlands and the knowledgeable guides are very professional, they took us on elephant rides and let us explore the entire spice plantation.

But i loved the elephant ride , it is for someone who loves to know about food, spices and plant herbs.

Spice plantation has a beautiful entry , after we drive to Ponda from Candolim. It was merely an hour tour there and we discovered the entire place and all those spices that we had never seen. Every little plant was a great herbal in itself.

If anyone asks me about paradise, this is one place I would love to be in time and again. Our Bara Bhangal Trek at towering heights of more than 10000 feet was worth all the exertion. We treked from Manali to Kalihani Pass via Lama Dugh and Riyali Thach which took us through Devi ki Marhi and Dal Marhi to Bara Bhangal where nature stood in all its glory. It was an absolute treat for me since I have always been on the lookout for an isolated escape. Simply put, Bara Bhangal will test your grit in case you are not a hardened treker.
