i hail from metro city where our lives are so busy that we never get the chance to enjoy and discover such places. I loved my first trekking expedition. Sight seeing was a great adventure, saw the different kinds of shepherds, the continous flowing river, endless desert plateau and then beautiful lake Yaya.

Our trek was divided into many smaller trails. My favourite trail was from Sumdo to Phayalung that took about 8 hours to complete\, it was an amazing experience for us.

Mahuli mountain is one of the highest mountain in Thane which is easily accessible from the thane station and any time throughout the year. The climate is all time moderate so its a plus point in trekking. You can have overnight trekking and camping on fort itself.it just takes 2-3 hrs from the base camp to reach at thepeak point , so its a very short trek.
