  • A different blend of multiple adventure activities with an enthusiastic group is this 2017 Republic Day special Konkankada rappelling treip.
  • On this tour, you are going to witness the majestic Harishchandragad which is a hill fort in the Ahmednagar region and it is located at a height of 4671 feet.
  • Yet another surprise is the Konkangada, one of the biggest cliffs in the Sahyadris that attracts trekkers and visitors in plenty for a logn time.
  • The view from the top of this cliff would be mind blowing as it looks down at the Konkan. The trek toward the topmost portion will be a tough one but the views of the serenity are worth taking the challenge.
  • Konkankada is a semicircular cliff with 2000 feet straight drop and 1000 feet slant fall in the Konkan plains. The rappelling session will enthrall you along with the breathtaking moments from such a great height.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    On 25th January, start the journey to the location in Kasara Semi Fast Local train from your respective station.

    On 26th January, around 01:30 AM, you will reach Kasara, post which, you will be taken to the base village Pachnai by local jeeps.

    From the base village, you start your night trek to Konkankada and from there, continue trekking to Harishchandra Gad and take rest till it is dawn.

    Around 05:00 AM, freshen up and have breakfast and it is time to indulge in rappelling for the first half of participants.

    After finishing rappelling, reach Belpada where lunch will be served around 01:30 PM.

    For those who finish rappelling in the second half, packed lunch and dinner will be served as they reach Belpada.

    Head to Kalyan by jeep as you arrive at Belpada village.
