Karnala is a small village located at the base of the Karnala fort ruins in Raigad District of Maharashtra. Karnala is a popular weekend getaway for people living in Mumbai, Panvel, and Alibaug. This is an outlandish little village with small hut-like houses and a few hotels that rests between the looming and illustrious Sahyadris. Karnala offers such a cinematic view of the lush forests and the greenery that surrounds it that you’ll feel like staying here forever. 

Invoke in this exciting weekday trekking to the Karnala Fort and explore the ruins of this forts. Start your tour after reaching the Karnala fort from Panvel and witness the diversifies flora and fauna in the Karnala Bird Sanctuary. Hike through the steep rocks until you reach the top of the fort for bird watching.     06:00 Meet the team at Pritam Hotel Near Flyover Dadar East.

    The Pickup points will be as follow:

    Yogi Hotel, Diamond Garden, Chembur, Vashi and 3 Star and McDonald, Kalamboli Panvel

    07:45 Reach Panvel state transport depot and breakfast.

    08:15 Move towards Karnala Bird Sanctuary by Tum-Tum rickshaw.

    09:00 Reach Karnala Fort Trek base by ST Bus / Tum-Tum Rickshaw.

    09:15 Start ascending.

    11:00 Summit and explore - Lunch (carry packed lunch).

    12:30 Start descending from Karnala Fort.

    15:30 Travel back to Panvel Station.

    16:30 Karnala Fort Trek End at Panvel Railway Station.

    16:40 Leave for Mumbai
