Overview

About the Activity:

  • Start from the Ferry Ramp at Pomburpa, 8 km from the capital, Panaji. 
  • Begin at around 7:30 AM in the morning and head out for the day
  • Take the traditional Goan Ferry across the Mandovi River to the island of Chorao.  
  • Cycle through this village still relatively untouched by urbanization. 
  • Stop at the lovely Divar Island Resort for some well-earned Rest & Recreation. Eat a sumptuous breakfast and take a leisurely swim in the pool.
  • After, take yet another ferry back to Ribandar, and then back to Panaji.
  • Conclude your tour at around 1:00 PM and head back home with lots of memories.

    I took my kids here as a weekend treat, and it turned out well! The guide Trishna was an experienced cyclist, and ensured our safety with the necessary equipments. The cycles were of decent grade and quality, nothing extraordinary though. The food was alright too, local food, mostly. We explored a lot of Goa, something we couldn’t have done in cars. After the cycling tour, we chilled in the resort swimming pool too! Only downside is that it was a bit pricey for the duration. If the price is reduced a bit, would definitely recommend more. Thanks.
