Andharban Trek From Pune Overview

Trekking Location: Andharban

Pickup time: 5:30 AM.
Drop time: 8:30 PM.

Andharban is a dense forest located near Pimpri in Maharashtra, an hour and a half away from Lonavala. Andharban trek is an ideal monsoon trek, shaded for the most part, and its speciality is that it’s a descending trail all the way. This is an evergreen Sahyadri forest, covered in mist and dreamy forest landscape in the Tamhini Ghats. The foliage is abundantly thick with cascading waterfalls as well as still water ponds. You will enjoy stunning views of Kundalika Valley and amazing species of flora and fauna.

The tour starts from Kothrud where you will be meeting with the team. The private bus leaves at 6 AM for the base village in which you will be served breakfast and tea. The journey is for 3 hours so you’ll be reaching the village till 8:30 AM after which you will be given basic instructions about the trek.

Andharban Trek From Pune starts at 9 AM through which you can enjoy the breathtaking views, scenic beauty and alluring charm of the forest. You will be served lunch in the midpoint of the trek at 12 noon. After lunch, the trek is continued to the endpoint which takes 2 hours. As soon as you end the trek and reach the bus, your return journey to Pune will start, serving you snacks and hi-tea on the way back.
