8 Days Sightseeing Tour Of Cuba

Itinerary

• Day 1 -

  At the airport, you’ll be greeted by a representative who will help you with arrival procedures.

  Post that, you will be driven in a private coach to your hotel, the Copacabana.

  It is also the only hotel in Havana that has an international scuba diving center.

  Overnight in hotel.

  Meals: None

• Day 2 -

  After breakfast at the hotel, you’re off for a tour of Old and Modern Havana (7 hours).

  Get ready to spend the day diving into the sights, sounds and smells of the city, and learn about the history, culture, and contemporary issues of this island nation along the way.

  You will be visiting Spanish Morro fortress, El Capitolio, or the National Capitol Building,Revolution square, the University of Havana, Malecon and Finca Vigia which is the plantation where Ernst Hemingway stayed.

  In the evening: free time to do as you wish.

• Day 3 -

  After breakfast, head out for an excursion to Viñales, a rural town located in the heart of Cuba's famous tobacco industry.

  Here, you’ll visit and explore Pinar del Rio, where you will be able to experience Cuban provincial life and get a peek into the everyday lives of the locals.

  On your route: the Francisco Donatién factory, where you'll learn how the most famous cigars in the world come to be.

  You’ll return to your hotel in Havana in the afternoon, after which you are free to do as you would like.

• Day 4 -

  Following breakfast, a visit to the city center, filled with warm smiles, laughter, cookies filled with guava jam, kids playing ball and plenty of music.

  And then, an unmissable and unique Cuban experience: you’ll spend two hours, driving around Old Havana in brightly painted vintage American cars - Pontiacs, Studebakers, Oldsmobiles, and Chevrolets.

  Free time afterwards to explore the city. Later, you'll jam with a local salsa band and, who knows, maybe even get to join in on one of their songs.

• Day 5 -

  After breakfast, head out for Trinidad.

  You’ll drive to the Cienfuegos province, also known as the ‘Pearl of the South’ which is 3-4 hours away.

  Upon arrival, you’ll take a city tour, which includes a visit to the Romantic Museum (Museo Romántico) and La Canchánchara.

  Afterwards: free time in the afternoon to explore the city on your own. Then, head back to the hotel, the Costa Sur Hotel.

• Day 6 -

  Today, you have free time to do as you wish in Trinidad. Explore, eat, shop, snooze, repeat.

  Meals: Breakfast

• Day 7 -

  This morning, you’ll journey back to Havana, and check in at the hotel. Afterwards, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

  As its your last day, spend as much time as possible soaking up the most of this beautiful country.

  You will be chauffeured to the airport to catch your flight back home.
