City Walk

A popular spot for street art in Dubai, City Walk is another one of Meeras’ pet projects. You'll also discover a slew of other colorful statement works, including murals created by prominent names in the street art world like Ron English, Lady Aiko from Japan, and others.
The Walk is best known for the ‘I Love DBX’ graffiti which, at this point, has become a cultural icon in Dubai. City Walk is also renowned for its fashionable cafes and boutique fashion boutiques, so once you've finished photographing your favorite street art installation, you can unwind at one of these establishments for laid-back weekend activities in Dubai.

AL Karama

Best known for its commercial housing, Al Karama has now, thanks to the effort of the local artists here, has transformed into a vibrant hub for street art in Dubai. You'll be able to see 24 breathtaking works of art spread over the historic buildings in Karama Souk, which served as canvas for the 'Rediscovering Karama' project.
Birds, natural landscapes and images of space adorn the walls of the buildings here. The rich colors on the historic buildings provide a pleasing aesthetic experience as well as excellent photographic opportunity.

AL Fahidi

Documenting local life through its art, a stroll through the Al Fahidi district can be an excellent way to explore the culture and street art in Dubai. Al Fahidi is well known for hosting several art fairs, including the renowned Sikka Art Fair, which invites artists from all over the world.
As a result, some permanent exhibits and installations have now made their home on the streets of the district. Vibrant graffiti forms the backdrop to the rustic streets, taking one back across the history of UAE.

Dubai Design District (D3)

As made evident by its name, the Dubai Design District is not only popular as one of the top spots for street art in Dubai but is also well known for its architectural style. Quirky buildings in strange shapes and various graffiti over these strange structures line up the streets here.
There are several art installations along the roads, inviting passersby to stop for a quick snap or two. Popular street art in pastel shades line up the building and street walls on all sides, displaying abstract art and animated scenes.

Jumeirah Beach Road

Home to one of Dubai’s biggest beaches, the Jumeirah Beach Road is one of the top attractions in the city with amazing art around it. With stunning works of art by 30 artists,this conic roadway has been given a new life. A number of the sculptures are a celebration of city life, hiding in plain sight in tucked-away lanes.
Murals showing youngsters enjoying traditional sports and Arabian dhows floating over the seas may be seen just yards away from abstract marvels like Ruben Sanchez's Bicycle.

Dubai Metro

A unique addition to the Dubai roadside, the pillars that support the Dubai metro line have now been converted with bright, eye-popping illustrations and art. Murals depicting an astronaut guided by a series of planets on string are a big highlight here.
In addition, the metro cars running along the line have been illustrated with vibrant colors and patterns, not to mention the illusory paintings and canvases that can be found adorning the walls of the metro station.

Jumeirah Beach Residences

Having hosted the Dubai Canvas 3D art festival in 2016, the Jumeirah Beach Residencies have preserved some of the precious art that it had hosted all of those years ago. Vibrant pastel shades and lifelike images cover the residences along the beach.
The resulting effect is dramatic, whether it be the sweeping eagle spreading across several house walls, or the mural depicting horses dancing on the sea.

Satwa

Also called the Dubai Street Museum, the Satwa neighborhood now serves as an open-air art exhibition. It saw 12 international painters paint 16 murals on various buildings along the Boulevard, each one highlighting the UAE's rich history and culture.
Some buildings depict single figures, while others portray life-sized paintings of elaborate scenes or poignant cultural moments. Interestingly, a walk through Satwa street ends at the Union House, the very place where the Dubai constitution was signed, giving birth to the nation.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard
