Ziplining At Flying Hanuman

Chalong Bay Rum Distillery was built by two French citizens who sought to create a hand-crafted rum distilled from fermented local Thai sugarcane. This is the only distillery in the entire Thailand that is not associated with the vastly dominant distilleries.

Experience The Vegetarian Festival

Vegetarian Festival also called Nine Emperor Gods Festival takes place once a year, during the ninth lunar month and is the most auspicious event on Phuket island. During this festival, everyone assembles at every Chinese shrine.

The Chinese refrain from eating meat, drinking alcoholic drinks, engaging in sex, quarreling, telling lies, or killing. The festival is celebrated by people to honor the gods, and pray to God for a long and prosperous future, their physical and mental well-being, and spiritual cleansing.

Eat Phuket’s Heritage Dishes

Visit the Ko Panyi floating village

Ko Panyi floating village is a beautiful Muslim village floating on the sea in Phang Nga Bay. This village was created about two hundred years ago by 3 seafaring fishing families. The families also avoided Thai law which states that foreigners are not allowed to own land in Thailand.

The village has a  school, hospital, cemetery, market, stores, small museum, restaurants, and a fish farm. Pork, drinking alcohol, and smoking are prohibited on Koh Panyi. The village got inspired after the 1986 World Cup and built the first floating soccer field with wood from old houses and everything else that was loose on the island.
