Bhedaghat is one of the most marvellous places in Jabalpur. Home of the magnificent Marble Rocks which form a graceful cluster by the flowing Narmada, it is perfect for your evening excursions. The site has been explored thoroughly to unveil many clusters of dinosaur eggshells, which dates the rocks way back to prehistoric times.

The beautiful marble rocks have been whittled out by the gushing Narmada river beside a narrow gorge stretching across 8 km. The entwining blue and brown patches of marble are truly beautiful.

Famous for: As the name suggests, Marble Rocks make up a cluster brushed with streaks of blue and brown, while the graceful Narmada river ribbons through. The rocks are marvellous, and naturally formed, the likes of which can be found nowhere else. Add the canvas of a phenomenal sunset in the background, and you known what euphoria looks like.

The temple of Siddheshwar Mahadev is a testament to the splendid architectural styles that dominated the era. Seated atop a beautiful hill, the sprawling canvas that surrounds the temple will leave you awestruck.

The exterior facade along with the imposing interior present ample opportunities to shutterbugs! The resident shrine is surrounded by porches,  festooned with 18 magnificent stone pillars carved with figures of satyrs.

Famous for: Held by a pedestal whose massive sides carry intricate elephant carvings. Out of four, two have been transferred to Nagpur museum for preservation, and the others sit partly in ruins.
